The Development of Agriculture in Jilin Province Calls for Water-saving Technology on Dry Land Farming

吉林省是我国商品粮生产大省,又是土壤水分蒸发量大、降雨量少、干旱缺水严重的省份。因此要促进吉林省农业的发展、减少干旱对农业生产的影响、提高水资源利用率、实现农业的可持续发展,实行旱作节水农业技术是一项重大措施。

Jilin province is one of main commercial crop production areas in China. The evaporatton of sou water is large, but rainfall was fewer. So droughtis common seen and the shortage of water is serious. Therefore, to promote the development of agriculture in Jilin province, reduce the damage of crop caused drought, enhance the efficiency of water usage and realize a sustainable development of agriculture, water-saving technology on dry land farming is a important measure.
