CePO4 was hydrothermally synthesized in the system of K2O-CeO2-P2O5-H2Oat 250℃. The factors influencing the products were investigated. The results show that lower pH, higher temperature and longer crystallizing time are favorable for the synthesis of CePO4. The products were investigated by means of XRD, IR and DTA-TG.The results showed that the product prepared by hydrothermal method is stable upto 1000℃.
