2005年10月,随着“第十届中国重庆三峡国际旅游节”的完美谢幕,“中国重庆三峡国际旅游节”(以下简称“三峡节”)迄今已连续举办10届。她以独具魅力的长江三峡为核心,向海内外嘉宾充分展示了重庆丰富的旅游资源和古朴与时尚相融共生的人文历史,充分展现了中国西部激情之都、创业之都的崭新风采。“三峡节”提升了重庆的城市形象,扩大了重庆的美誉度、知名度与影响力;促进了城市大发展,丰富了产业链,推动了重庆旅游经济的发展,使重庆实现了由旅游资源大市向中国旅游名市的历史性跨越。

＂China Chongqing Three Gorges International Tour Festival＂ has been held for ten , times in succession. With the unique charms of the Tree Gorges on the Yangtze River as the core, the festival displays fully the rich tourist resources of Chongqing and the civilization history of coexistence and development of the ancient custom and modem style and reveals completely the brand-new charm of the capital of enthusiasm and the capital of tmdertaking in western Chongqing.
