摘要
通过预制块在铸造Al-4.5Cu合金熔体中的自蔓延反应来制备TiCp/Al-4.5Cu复合材料,考察原位反应温度对该复合材料组织与力学性能的影响。结果表明,原位反应温度为950℃时所制备的复合材料力学性能较优;TiC颗粒呈小圆片状,与基体结合良好,无其他有害相生成。原位反应温度为900℃和1 000℃时所制备的复合材料组织中都有产生针状Al3Ti的倾向。
In-situ composites of TiC/Al-4.5Cu were fabricated via self-propagating reaction of a prepared block in molten cast Al-4.5Cu alloy. The effect of in-situ reaction temperature on the structure and mechanical properties of TiC/Al-4.5Cu was studied. The results showed that when the in-situ reaction temperature is held at 950 ℃, the mechanical properties of the composite are improved; TiC particles have small, thin and round plate shape dispersed uniformely in the matrix ofα-Al; there are no other harmful phases formed. When the in-situ reaction temperature is 900℃ or 1 000 13, rod-like AI3Ti are formed in the structure of the composites.
