In this paper,a reversed phase HPLC method for the separation and determination of diethyl o cyanobenzyl phosphonate with YWG C 18 column at 40℃ was described.The retention behaviour of the main product and impurities was studied in different concentration of eluent.An eluent containing 45% acetonitrile solution was selected at the flow rate of 1.0ml/min and detection wavelength was set at 274nm.The method is simple,rapid and sensitive and has been used to determine industrial samples with satisfactory results.
