2006年是北京网通实施从传统电信运营商向综合信息服务企业战略转型的重要一年。我们要从战略的高度认识加快推进转型的重要性和迫切性，要站在自主创新的起点上，寻找新角度，开发新思维，迎接新挑战，谋求新发展，充分发挥首都优势，积极实施中国网通的奥运、宽带、国际化三大战略，全面落实十一五规划各项任务。
2006 is an important year for Beijing Netcom to implement the strategic transformation from traditional telecom operator toward comprehensive information service firm. We shall recognize the significance and urgency of accelerating pushing transformation from strategic height, search for new angles, develop new thoughts, receive new challenges, seek new development, fully exert capital advantages, actively implement the three strate- gies of CNC which are Olympic Games, Broadband and Internationalization, and fulfill all tasks of the 11 th FYP all round on the basis of independent innovation.
