摘要旨在较为全面地探讨英语中的独立主格结构(The Nom inative Absolute Construction)及其相关问题;具体涉及该结构的构成特点,产生原因,句法功能,该结构中的非谓语形式及使用规则,该结构与动名词复合结构和不定式复合结构的内在联系和本质差异等内容。
