试论刘修业的吴承恩研究

A Comment on Liu Xiuye's study of Wu Cheng-en

对于明代作家、《西游记》作者吴承恩的研究,刘修业是实际上的集大成者,其成就和影响独步海内外,然而一直未能得到学界足够的关注。在当下《西游记》学术背景发生重大变化之际,更应对刘修业作公正、合理的评价。

Liu Xiuye epitomized the thought of the studies of Wu Cheng-en, a famous writer in the Ming Dynasty. Because of her achievement and influence, she was unequalled in the world. But it was a pity that her studies could not attract much attention of the educational circles. Nowadays, since the academic background of Journey to the West has changed a lot, Liu Xiuye should get a fair and reasonable judgement.
