Literature is the art of language. Chinese characters combine the pronunciation, form and information as a whole. Men of letters from ancient time to the present just ingeniously take advantage of the characteristics of gathering the visual sense, auditory sense and meaning to- gether in Chinese characters, creating numerous vivid, elegant and intelligent literature works, and fully reflecting the relatively unique enchant- ment of Chinese characters and Chinese literature in contrast with those of other countries.
