The construction of the priority field of study is the important measure for development and improving the competitiveness in local colleges for nationalities. During the construction of the priority field of study, besides following the basic rules of the field of learning, it~ necessary to possess their own developing principles as follows： highlighting the characteristics of nationalities; forming the advantage in competition; emphasizing the leading and guiding functions of science and research and insisting the sustainable development.
