Verification and Analysis on the Foundation Date of Patriotic Lady’s Seminary

爱国女学是我国最早开办的新式女学之一,关于其成立时间,学界迄今仍众说纷纭,有学者认为“爱国女学为爱国学社所办”,这一说法并不正确。其实,爱国女学不是爱国学社所办,其成立时间也要先于爱国学社。本文对此进行了考证和辨析,并补正了学界对章太炎、吴稚晖评价的缺失。

Mr. Xiong Yuezhi’s idea that patriotic lady's seminary was founded by Patriotic Society is not true.Patriotic lady's seminary was not founded by Patriotic Society because its foundation date was prior to thatof Patriotic Society. Research verification and analysis have been done to supplement estimations andcomments of academia on Mr.Zhang Taiyan and Mr.Wu Zhihui.
