The paper introduces the architectural characteristics of ＂Haishang SOHO＂ No.1 office building and the relation between its design and construction, points out the role the detail drawing plays in the instances of complex elevation and alternation of design during the construction, and points out the impor- tance of cooperation among the various specialized fields and the exchange between design and construction.
