Experimental study on planting Chinese pines indicates that Chinese pine can grow well on slag land. Comparing with Chinese pines forest nearby, main roots of young trees planted in slag land distribut shallow, but hair roots can stretch downward year by year. The upground part of Chinese pines in slag land grows slowly during initial period, so planting in bunckle can Increase resistance of young trees to the inferior environment; height growth becomes fast after b to 6 years, at this time,faint .trees should be cut and single strong one be kept. 5～6 years Chinese pines in slag land can reach normal growth standard of dues in forestland.
