On Zong Baihua's Aesthetic Time-Space

从中西比较的大背景来看,宗白华的时空观具有明显的发轫、演化过程和宇宙观渊源,在此时空观的基础上宗白华对中国审美时空的特点及表现方式作出独特诠释,其审美时空观与其它重要问题有不可分割的联系,因而是其整个美学的中心环节。

From the perspective of comparison between China and the West, Zong Baihua＇s time-space outlook possessed obvious processes of development and evolution as well as the origin of universe outlook. On the basis of this time-space outlook, Zong Baihua made peculiar interpretations of the characteristics and expressive modes of Chinese taste. His aesthetic time-space has an inseparable link with other important issues. Therefore, it is the core link in the whole aesthetics.
