In order to the safe application and ensure its explosion protection performance, the author states the aspects to be considered in its design and application. Following the relevant requirements in the correspondent standards, the author summarizes the mechanical protection, electric protection and thermal protection, as well as some strong points to impact on the explosion protection safety, and put forward the protective measures respectively.
