Yu Dafu’s poetry is a type of sentimental poetics,which explores what emotions are the most appropriate to literary expressions and which enriches and develops the Chinese poetry tradition of “describing aspirations” and “expressing emotions”.But this kind of enrichment and development was the result of the mixture of Chinese and Western culture as well as the agitation of the poetry studies.
