网络英语新词词义探析

The Initial Search and Analysis on Semantics of Internet English New Words

随着网络的普及,出现了大量的网络新词,这极大地丰富了英语词汇。文章对网络中新出现的英语词汇进行了归纳,并从软硬件、网络广告、网络游戏、网络聊天和电子邮件用语等方面入手,对这些新词的词义进行了分析。

As the Internet becomes popular, a large number of new Internet words appear, which have greatly enriched the English vocabulary. But in real life, if these words bear no explanation, people can hardly understand. This paper sums up the newly appeared Internet words, and analyses the meanings of the new words mainly from five different aspects： software and hardware, net advertisement, computer games, net-chatting and E-mail terms.
