China's Health System must Follow its Own Way fOr DevelOpment

做为人口众多、经济尚不发达、卫生资源有限的我国，要实现世界卫生组织提出的到２０００年人人享有卫生保健”的全球战略目标，加速卫生发展，必须要根据自己的实际，发挥自己的长处，坚持走一条自己卫生发展的新路：一是卫生发展要统筹规划，卫生资源要合理配置；二是加强宣传树立新观念，加大干预提倡自我保健；三是低费用高质量优服务，施健康保全民求实效。

AbstractChina is characterised by its early stage of econom-ic development,with a large population and limitedhealth resourcs. Health has to be developed under sucha condition. To reach the global stratergy of Health forAll by Year 2000 advocated by WHO,China must baseits own health policy on its current situation and re-sources. china must develop its own wav to ensurehealth development.In the author's opinion,attentionshould be paid to the following:1.Health resourcesmust be out into their full use,with a rational overallplanning.2.Efforts should be made in disseminatingknowledge to help people establish new health attitudeand behaviors and in intervening the community for bet-ter practice of self care.3.To render high quality healthservice to people with great coverage and effectiveness.
