文化是城市个性的体现,是城市的生命和灵魂,文化在现代城市发展中发挥着十分重要的作用。当前,我国城市化已进入快速发展的时期,而城市建设趋同化现象却十分严重,亟需科学的城市文化理论支撑。因此,明确城市文化的概念、构成要素和特点等基本理论问题具有十分重要的理论和现实意义。

The culture is a symbol of a city. It plays an important role in modern urban development. However the cities are lacking their own feature and become more and more similarity. The article analyzed the conception, construction factor and characteristics of urban culture. It dissertated that culture is the token of city characteristic and the being and soul of city, it is beginning with the conception of urban culture.
