人工神经网络理论已在解决投标决策问题领域中有所应用。但其主要的缺点在于神经网络系统不能解释为什么和什么样的规则是合适的,这些对使用者是否能接受该系统影响很大。改良KT法用来收集和检验预测数据,解决预测问题。

Artificial neural networks （ANNs） have been applied to support prediction. The major drawback of this application,however, is that an ANN system is unable to explain why and how a particular recommendation is made. This significantly affects the user-acceptance of the system and its results.
