Jiangtong-Wengfu＇ s 400 kt/a sulphuric acid plant is described in detail with respect to its design consideration, process and equipment features. The plant is designed to operate with pyrite concentrate as only raw material and composed of double 600 t/d lines, both adopting advanced DynaWave Scrubber cleaning process and 3＋1 double absorption technology. The conversion section has an all-stainless steel converter with a design total conversion efficiency of 99. 75%.
