Geographic Information Public Service Platform and the Responsibility of Modern Surveying and Mapping

空间信息的共享既是信息化社会对空间信息的要求,也是地理信息技术发展的必然趋势。本文论述了地理信息公共服务平台建设的目的和意义,对平台的内容、关键技术、基本功能和作用进行了系统性的介绍,对未来测绘从信息获取的内容和面向信息化社会的服务模式提出了新的思路。

Sharing geospatial information is not only the requirement of information society, but also the technology development trend of modern geographic information. This paper discusses the purpose and significance of establishing geographic information public service platform, and gives a systemic introduction to the platform contents, the key technologies, the basic functions. Furthermore it gives a new viewpoint to the modern surveying and mapping development on both the contents of original data collection and the service mode facing to the information society.
