On Changes of Expressions of the Honorific Form in Japanese

日语中的敬语是指说话人对听话人或话题中所提到的人物表示敬意的一种讲法,一般可分为尊敬语、自谦语、郑重语三类。随着时代的发展变迁,日语的敬语表达也发生着变化。通过对明治至昭和时代的小说、新闻等中的敬语用法变化的考察,探讨日语敬语表达的变化。

Normally, the expressions of the honorific form in Japanese are divided into three categories： respectful form, humble form and polite form. Along with the development of the society, the expressions of the honorific form are also changed in Japanese. Based on the investigation of the changes of application of the honorific form in novels and news from Meiji Era to Showa Era, the paper explores the transition of the expressions of the honorific forming in Japanese.
