After analyzing the background and current status of the reform of college English teaching in listening and speaking, the writer points out the existed difficulties, and proposes the solutions, such as renovating the teaching concept, setting up char teaching objectives, developing textbooks to meet the needs of vocational English teaching, improving the efficiency of classroom teaching, and setting up a scientific evaluation system.
