本文从“连”字的原始意义入手考察“连”字的意义衍生泛化过程。在此基础上进一步分析这种衍生泛化过程的内在规律,并论证了“连”字句历时发展过程的根本动因在于关系范畴的范畴化而导致的关系母项和关系子项的彻底分离这一命题。

This essay explores the process of derivation and generalization of the meaning of sentence ＂lian＂ starting with the primitive meaning of ＂lian＂. Based on this analysis, it points out the inherent rule of the process of derivation and generalization, and demonstrates the proposition that the ultimate motivation of the grammaticalization of the sentence ＂lian＂ consists in the complete separation of the relational mother-item and the relational son-item driven by the categorization of the relation category.
