猕猴牙齿的性别判别分析

Sexual identification analysis with tooth of macaca mulatta

目的:研究成年太行山猕猴头骨标本的上、下颌牙齿有关变量在性别判别中的作用。方法:采用SPSS11.0 for Windows统计软件中的单因子方差分析和多变量判别分析。结果:太行山猕猴牙齿具有明显的性别差异。结论:成年猕猴牙齿(尤其是犬齿)在性别判别中具有一定的应用价值。在对牙齿进行性别判别时,采用不同的判别方法其判别效果不同。

Objective： To study the roles of maxilla and mandibula＇s tooth samples in the sexual identification of adult macaca mulatta in Taihang Mountains. Methods： One-way ANOVA and sex identification analysis of multiple variables were carried out with the SPSS 11.0 for Windows. Results： There was evident sexual difference in adult macaca mulattas＇ teeth of the Taihang Mountains. Conclusion： Adult macaca mulattas＇ teeth （canine especially） can play a role in sexual identification. The identification results are different when different methods are used to evaluate the teeth.
