Schematic Design of the Traffic Modification in Niujiaotuo-Shangqingsi-Lianglukou Section

牛角沱-上清寺-两路口路段地处重庆市渝中半岛中心,并通过该路段连接江北区和南岸区,为重庆市交通的重要关节。现状的牛角沱-上清寺-两路口路段在上下班时都要出现堵车现象,交通压力较大。建设中的菜园坝大桥将从南岸区的车流接入两路口环道,接入的交通量将使该路段的交通雪上加霜。中山三路为两路口往江北区、大礼堂、牛角沱(沙坪坝)等主要方向的主要通道,交通压力非常大,必须找一个分流的通道。

Niujiaotuo-Shangqingsi-Lianglukou section, which locates in the centre of Yuzhong Peninsula in Chongqing,connects Jiangbei District and Nanan District, and becoming the important joint of the traffic in Chongqing.The present situation is that there is a traffic congestion at this section everyday when people are on and off duty, so the pressure is quite heavy. The Caiyuanba Bridge which is under construction will lead the wagon flow which comes from Nanan District into Lianglukou circle road, and the volume of traffic will make the problem of this section more serious.Zhongshansan Road is the major passway from Lianglukou to Jiangbei District,Dalitang and Niujiaotuo （Shapingba） etc.,so there is so much pressure, and we must find a distributary passway.
