摘要
介绍LCDTV在垂直阵列(VA)、共面开关(IPS)和扭曲向列相(TN)等三种模式下,其工作电压和响应时间与液晶材料介电各向异性等主要参数的关系。探讨这三种模式对液晶材料主要参数的要求和这三种模式液晶材料发展状况。由Merck新开发的极性材料A、挥发性材料B以及强极性材料C可很好地改善LCDTV工作电压和响应时间。
Relationships of LCD TV among response time, operating voltage and liquid crystal materials' parameters are introduced under three modes including vertical alignment(VA) mode, in plane switching (IPS) mode and twisted nematic (TN) mode. Requirements and development of liquid crystal materials for various modes are also issued. Performance of LCD can be improved a lot by using novel materials such as polar material A, diluter material B and high polar material C. which have been successfullv develoDed bv Merck.
