A Study on Construction Land Change and Urban Area Increase of Suzhou

摘要 随着工业化与城镇化步伐的加快,建设用地不足已成为制约城市发展的突出问题。利用1986、1998、2003年的多源卫星遥感影像,结合统计数据,分析了苏州近20年来建设用地变化和城区扩展特征,初步探讨了引起这种变化的原因。最后得出城区发展以外延扩展为主,土地利用效益有待提高,建设用地结构不尽合理等结论。 Along with industrialization and urbanization, the shortage of land for construction has become an outstanding problem. The paper analyzes the construction land change and urban area increase of Suzhou from 1986 to 2003, by making use of remote sensing image of TM and SPOT and statistical data. It is concluded that the peripheral increase takes the lead in the urban development and that the benefit of the land use should be increased and the construction land is not quite structured.
