The Design and Realization of a New Internet System Based on ArcIMS for Issuing Information of Estate Auction in Suzhou

This article presents the process of design and development of a new system focusing on the information issue of estate auction through Internet in Suzhou. The ArcIMS＇s technological features, basic systematic structures, data encoding, development of servers, client terminal viewer planning, system management and main-tenance after the information issue are introduced. The realization of the system is a good instance of the Web GIS application in public information issue,which fully shows the important role of Web GIS technology in the development digital city.
