This paper analyzes the current status of endangered plants and animals resources in traditional Chinese medicines and the reasons cause the species extinct. The international and national conventions and checklists in endangered species conservation were listed,same as the medicinal animal and plant protection act in our country, The significance and strategies in conservation and management of medical resources were also presented.
