摘要
本文运用定量分析的方法,对413名英语专业本科生自主性学习能力的总体倾向进行了研究,并就高、低年级、男女生在自主性学习能力上的异同做了比较。结果表明,英语专业本科生自主性学习能力总体较高;高、低年级、男女生在自主性学习能力方面存在显著差异。研究结果对课堂教学有一定的启示。
This empirical study analyzes the status quo of learner autonomy on the part of 413 English majors as a whole. It also makes comparisons between first-year and third-year as well as between male and female English majors in terms of learner autonomy. Detailed analysis of the qualitative data has led to the following findings: 1) On the whole, learner autonomy on the part of English majors is quite satisfactory; 2) A noticeable difference exists between first-year and third-year as well as between male and female English majors in terms of learner autonomy. The research results yield some implications for EFL classroom teaching in the Chinese context.
