章学诚与海登·怀特文史观之比较

Comparison of Zhang Xuecheng and Hayden White′s Literature-history Perspectives

同样是探讨历史的书写问题,中国乾嘉时代的章学诚与当代的新历史主义学者海登.怀特都将目光聚焦于文学和历史的关系上。前者提出以文济史的治史方法,后者构建了一整套后现代历史叙事理论。两者的观点有着相似之处,又有着根植于不同文化、传统与时代背景的根本性差异。文章通过对两种文史观的比较,揭示了它们的异同,并分析其产生差异的原因。

When talking about the problem of how to write history, Zhang xuecheng and Hayden White all emphasized on the relationship between literature and history. The former put forward the method of harnessing literature as the assistance of history, while the latter established a systematic theory of post - modernism historical narration. There were not only similarities , but also disparities based on the historical backgrounds,the culture and tradition between these two theories. By comparing these two literature- history perspectives, the author attempts to investigate the similarities and disparities.
