The highlight of 2006 is the delivery in April of the 158,000grt Freedom of the Seas, the larg- est cruise vessel ever built and eclipsing 151,400grt Queen Mary 2, the previous largest liner. The dimensions of the Freedom of the Seas are im- pressive with an overall length of 339m, a maximum breadth of 56m, 15 decks high which are for passengers with space for maxi- mum of 4,375 berths. There will be a crew complement of 1,365.
