摘要 运动估计是视频编码中最耗时的模块。为了提高编码效率,研究者们提出了许多快速块匹配算法,本文在分析现有算法的基础上提出了一种新的快速块匹配算法。这种方法综合了钻石形法(DS)和六边形法(HEXBS)的优点。实验结果显示,编码效率相比于钻石形法提高了约37%,并保持了同等的预测质量。 Motion estimation is a module which takes the most time in video coding. In order to improve the coding efficiency, many fast block-matching algorithms have been brought forward. In this paper, based on analyzing several existing algorithms, we propose a new algorithm which integrates diamond search (DS) and hexagon-based search (HEXBS). Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm performs faster than the diamond search (DS) by about 37%, whereas similar prediction quality is still maintained.
