长期以来,学术界对新民主主义社会在中国存在的必然性所做的论述比较充分,但对新民主主义社会的时限问题的讨论却并不充分,甚至认识还很模糊。“新民主主义社会应是一个长期发展阶段”,这是以马克思主义关于生产力与生产关系的历史唯物论和科学发展观为指导的结论,“新民主主义社会应该长期存在”是中国国情的客观要求,也是中国共产党对国情的正确认识,具有合理性。新民主主义社会提前终结会对社会主义生产力发展带来不利影响,不利于经济建设路径的选择,并导致对社会主义本质的错误认知。认真总结这一段历史经验,有利于我们了解认识社会主义初级阶段。

For a long time, the academic field has made a thorough exposition on the inevitability of the existence of the new democratic society in China, but the discussion about the time limitation of the new democratic society is not thorough, and the recognition is even very unclear. ＂The new democratic society should have a protracted developing stage＂ is a guiding conclusion of the historical materialism about the productive forces and productive relationship and of the scientific developing point of view. ＂the protracted existence of new democratic society＂ is an objective need considering national conditions of China, the correct recognition that the Communist Party of China has about national conditions and with rationality. The ending of the democratic society earlier than usual will lead to the harmful influence on the development of the socialist productive forces, be harmful to the choice made about the way for the economic construction and cause the wrong cognition to the nature of the socialism. Concluding the historical experiences of this period will be beneficial for us to know the initial stage of socialism.
