“副职”中的“副”字英译

On English Translation of Chinese "Fu" in Subordinate Ranks\Titles

由于英汉文化差异,汉语“副职”的英译迄今为止还比较混乱。本文通过东西方文化对比总结出“副职”称谓词的搭配规律,并得出相应的“副职”英译法。

English translation of the Chinese subordinate ranks／titles has been in confusion so far, due to the differences between English and Chinese cultures. By making a comparison between English and Chinese cultures, this paper sums up the collocational regularities for the subordinate rank／title signifiers and the equivalents of the Chinese subordinate ranks／titles may be obtained.
