摘要
目的观察颌骨牙骨质化纤维瘤(cementifyingfibroma,CF)中骨形成蛋白-2(BMP-2)的表达,探讨其与牙骨质小体及牙骨质样物质形成的关系。方法采用原位杂交和免疫组化方法对10例CF标本进行BMP-2mRNA和BMP-2蛋白的检测。结果10例CF标本中,9例有BMP-2mRNA表达,7例有BMP-2蛋白表达,阳性信号位于牙骨质小体及牙骨质样物质周围环绕的短梭形细胞,以及瘤样增生的纤维组织中的多数纤维母细胞和部分纤维细胞胞质中,未钙化的牙骨质基质也有BMP-2蛋白表达。结论BMP-2在CF中的表达可能与牙骨质小体及牙骨质样物质的形成有关。
Objective To investigate the expression of BMP-2 in cementifying fibroma（CF） of the jaw and its correlation with the formation of cementicle or cementoid substance. Methods The expression of BMP-2 mRNA and BMP-2 protein in 10 cases of CF was detected by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry respectively. Results Nine cases of CF showed positive staining for BMP-2 mRNA and 7 cases demonstrated positive staining for BMP-2 protein. The positive staining was mainly located in cytoplasm of short fusiform cells with hypertrophic cell body close to cementicle or cementoid substance, and in most fibroblasts and some fibrocytes in tumor-like proliferative fibrous tissue. The uncalcified matrix of cementum also showed positive staining for BMP-2 protein. Conclusion The expression of BMP-2 in CF might play an important role in the formation of cementicle or cementoid substance.
