通识教育作为一种教育思想有着丰富的内涵。通识教育的教育价值观重视学生综合素质的培养,这一切都是为了培养“完整的人”;通识教育的知识观重视学生知识的全面发展,让学生掌握多个领域的基础知识和技能;通识教育的学生观是主体性的学生观,也就是要树立学生是教育过程的主体、是未来社会生活的主体的观念。
