Application of micro-encapsulated modified natural graphite in Li-ion batteries

摘要 从电池制备工艺角度研究了壳核结构改性天然石墨在锂离子电池中的应用。研究结果表明,极片的压实密度严重影响改性石墨粒子在极片中的电化学性能,过高的压实密度会导致材料的首次放电效率和循环性能变差。扫描电镜(SEM)测试显示,极片的压制工艺过程会不同程度地导致粒子变形,甚至破裂,天然石墨内核的外露是造成材料电性能恶化的首要原因。 The performance of the microencapsulated prismatic battery 063048 was investigated. The results natural graphite as the negative electrode in showed that the value of the compacted density was a key factor for electrochemical properties of the microencapsulated natural graphite. Too high compacted density of the electrode will induce to a lower first charge -discharge efficiency and worse cycle life. The results of SEM images showed that the pressing process of electrode will lead to negative particle's distortion and break. The bareness of nature graphite core is the most important factor to weaken the electrochemical performance of microencapsulated natural graphite.
