唐传奇《离魂记》讲述了王宙与倩娘之间的恋爱故事。元代的郑光祖根据这部传奇改编成杂剧《倩女离魂》。两部作品创作于不同年代,虽然是同一题材,却折射出不同的恋爱观。作者主要论述两部作品恋爱观的变迁以及变迁的原因。

The Lost Souls, a romantic tale of marvels of the Tang dynasty, narrates a love story of a young couple named Wangzhou and Qianniang respectively. Zheng Guang Zu, a famous dramatist of the Yuan dynasty, rearranged this love story into a Yuan drama named A Beauty with the Soul lost. The two works were created in different times. They belong to the same theme, but reflect different outlooks of lo,e. The author mainly expounds the changes of love outlook of the two works and the causes leading to such changes.
