在种公牛饲料中添加麦级石饲喂利木赞种公牛，进行对其精液品质影响的研究，结果表明；添加１．５％麦饭石可以代替种公牛饲料中的复合矿物质添加剂部分，而且对精液品质、受胎率无任何影响．说明麦饭石可用于反刍动物的矿物质添加剂．

After lymchin bulls had been given food to which had been added maifanite,their semen quality was studied.The result showed the addition of 1.5% Maifanite can be used instead of the compound mineral additive in bull food and there is no effect on the semen quality and fertility rate,so Maifanite can be used as a mineral additive in the food of ruminants.
