摘要
运用认知词汇语义学关于语义和认知机制的关系来研究“吃”一词在汉英两种语言中所构筑和衍生的词义,通过对两者原型义项、下属词义和在各自语言的成语、习语中的比较分析发现两者的相似性和差异,并进一步分析了造成相似和差异的认知和文化原因。
Based on the relationship of semantic and cognitive mechanism in cognitive lexical semantics, this paper makes a study of "chi" and "eat "in Chinese and English. Through the comparison between the two on prototype category, subordinate category and idioms, we find the similarities and differences of the two. Moreover, the paper further analyses the cognitive and cultural causes of them.
