三自原则是建设中国教会的基本原则,具有丰富的教会性。它不是外加于教会的,暂时的权宜之计,而是内在于教会,是神的启示和教会历史实践的统一,是教会的地方性与宇宙性的统一,是教会现实性与终极性的统一,是办好教会与教会性的统一。坚持三自原则的中国教会正在神的引领下,逐步成长为满有基督长成身量的荣耀的教会。三自原则是建设好中国教会的基本原则,具有很强的教会性,但少数同工认为三自是政治的,非宗教的, 外在于教会,是外加的,暂时的权宜之计,本文以《三自原则与教会建设》为题从以下几个方面,对三自原则的教会性进行较为系统的论述,和同工同道们分享和思考,以期在以后的探讨中使三自的理论进一步地深入和完善,使中国教会能始终如一地按三自原则建设好中国教会,坚实地跨出每一步,向荣耀的教会迈进。

The three-self principle is the basic principle for construction of Chinese church and rich in church nature. It is a policy interior to the church rather than unnecessary and short-lived. It unified the revelation of God and the historical practice of the church, the regional nature and the universal nature of the church, and the realistic nature and the ultimacy of it. It is also a unification of church nature and good church operation. The Chinese Church which adheres to the three-self principle is gradually growing into a glorious church increased in years under the guide of God. The three-self principle is the basic principle for construction of Chinese Church with a strong church nature. Yet a minority of colleagues believes it is political rather than religious. It is unnecessary and shortlived. This article will develop the topic from these several prospects, making a relatively systematic statement of the three-self principle and sharing and thinking with the colleagues. So that the three-self with be further deepened and improved in the latter exploration and The Chinese Church can operate itself well according to the principle all along, stepping forward steadily toward building a glorious church.
