摘要 As the ancient capital, Beijing is the place where skillful crafts men meet and communicate in historical times. Its royal and folk artistic styles are very strong and have the typical characeristics of Beijing Works. Among them, the Eight-Uniqueness ot Beijing, which includes cloisonné, jade carving, ivory carving, carved lacquerware, gold lacquer inlay, decorative pattern inlay, imperial blanket and imperial embroidery, is famous as early as the early 19th century, such as the large ivory carving "Cheng-Kung Railroad". The main procedures for manufacturing cloisonné conclude 7 steps As the ancient capital, Beijing is the place where skillful crafts men meet and communicate in historical times. Among them, the Eight-Uniqueness of Beijing, which includes cloisonne, jade carving, ivory carving, carved lacquerware, gold lacquer inlay, decorative pattern inlay, imperial blanket and imperial embroidery, is famous as early as the early 19th century, such as the large ivory carving "Cheng-Kung Railroad", silk barbola "Upper River during Qing Ming Festival" ,which are displaying at the United Nation, and the emblem of 2008 Olympics, they are all the artworks of the craftsmen in Beijing. But as the passing of times and the changing of social lives, these old and exquisite crafts are fading out. To save these crafts from extinction, Beijing Municipal Government invested and established the "Bai Gong Fang"-various crafts workshop. In this place, the Eight-Uniqueness showed their sheen again.
