This year is the ＂Year of Russia＂ in China and marks the tenth anniversary of the SinoRussian Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the fifth anniversary of the ＂Treaty of Good Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation between the People＇s Republic of China and the Russian Federation＂. At the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao, President Putin paid a state visit to China from March 21 to 22, 2006, which drawed the world attention. Over the past ten years and more, the bilateral relations between China and Russia have witnessed a continuous, fast and steady development with eye-catching achievement.
