1. Status of Chinese RE Hydrogen Storage Alloys 1. R εt D of RE Hydrogen Storage Alloys in China ABs hydrogen storage materials, taking rare earth mischmetaLs as raw materials, developed rapidly in China in recent years. Today, different countries attach importance to the development and application of the new environmental protection reproducible power sources. To meet the requirement of scaled industrialization of smaLL NiMH batteries and Large NiMH batteries by electric motors, each country has manufactured various La-rich and Ce-rich hydrogen storage aLLoys for high performance NiMH batteries to further improve the performance and reduce the cost of the aLLoys. MeanwhiLe, they are starting R εt D of new generation high capacity hydrogen storage aLLoys.
