摘要
寒暄语具有充当社会关系的润滑剂、保持社会接触和填补言语空白等功能。汉英寒暄语差异显著,是汉英文化差异的反映。“你吃了吗?”与Hello的语用差异典型地反映了汉英寒暄语的差异。同时,二者又有一定的共性,二者之间的关系是不完全对等的,而是互相蕴涵的。
Through the analysis of the two typical phrases expressing phatic communion, i.e. ＂ni chile ma？＂ in Chinese and HELLO in English, this article explores the differences and similarities between the Chinese and English phatic communion. It also analyses their communicative functions and their scope of usage briefly, brings about the idea that ＂ni chi le ma？＂ has the function of promoting regional identity, and explores their relationship that they are not completely equivalent but mutually embedding. The article is expected to be useful to help smooth some obstacles for the cross - cultural communication.
