《红楼梦》是中国小说史上的一朵奇葩。在甲戌本第一回所提到的五个书名中,《红楼梦》新雅醒目,既照顾了全书的结构,又隐括了全书的内容,较之《石头记》及其他书名要高出一筹。

The Dream of Red Mansions was a exotic flower in the history of Chinese novels. Among five book titles carried by the first chapter in Jia Xu book, the Dream of Red Mansions was fresh and elegant, it not only contained the style but also implied the content of whole book, it was better than the Story of Stone and other book titles.
