再论翻译教学

Translation Education Revisited

《上海科技翻译》2003年曾主持过关于翻译教学问题的大讨论;《中国翻译》2004年第五期又发表了一系列关于翻译教学的文章。论者多论及翻译教学中的理论教学与实务教学及二者之关系。事实上,建立翻译教学自身的理论模式才是改革翻译教学的当务之急。

The discussion on translation education, hosted by both Shanghai Translators Journal for ,Science and Technology in 2003 and Chinese Translators Journal in 2004, focuses on the relation between translation theory and translation practice alone. The most significant thing to reform translation education, as a matter of fact, is to set up a theoretical model of its own.
